Campers & Divisions

The Best Day Camp Programs
for Ages 3 – 15

Frogbridge Day Camp uniquely offers “camps within a camp” with nine camps/programs, each specifically designed for a particular age range. Each camp is led by its own Division Leader who takes special care to provide safe, educational and entertaining activities for campers all summer long!

Tadpole Village

Pre-K & K campers (Ages 3-5)

Tadpole Village is a division where children are nurtured, encouraged, and safeguarded. Under constant and careful supervision, all campers in Tadpole Village are led by experienced, licensed, adult teachers, adult assistants and collegiate aides. Here, they’ll make the most of our camp’s age-appropriate facilities, including a separate pool for instructional and recreational swimming, fully air-conditioned activity rooms, enclosed outdoor playgrounds/fields and even pony rides!

A mini week program (Tues., Wed., and Thurs. – full day) is also available for three, four and five year old campers.

Important Information:

  1. Tadpole Village Campers must be a minimum of 3 years old at the BEGINNING of camp.
  2. Tadpole Village Campers must be fully potty trained. Diapers, including pull-ups, are not permitted. All children must be able to use the bathroom facilities on their own.

Intermediate Camp

First Grade Campers (Age 6)

Intermediate Camp is for campers entering first grade (6-years old), and is the bridge between Tadpole Village and Junior Camp. Under the constant and careful supervision of our experienced staff, Intermediate Campers are encouraged to participate in a wide range of exciting activities. We limit the number of campers in each group – allowing our staff to provide quality, individualized attention to each child!

A mini week program (Tues., Wed., and Thurs. – full day) is also available.

Junior Camp

Second and Third Grade Campers
(Ages 7-8)

All Junior Camp groups (second and third graders) are led by licensed, adult teachers and experienced assistants. Through our carefully guided athletic, nature, and art programs, Junior Campers expand their imagination, creativity and knowledge, and even get to choose a different  “Club” (elective) to do each week!

Middle Camp

Fourth and Fifth Grade Campers
(9-10 Years Old)

Middle Camp groups are led by experienced, collegiate education majors. All activities are tailor-made to nurture the emerging maturity evident in this age group. Middle campers have the ability to select several personal “Club” (elective) choices each week – along with sports league options, where campers will gain additional instruction and playtime. Campers are encouraged to expand their imaginations and increase their knowledge through athletics, nature and art.

Senior Camp

Sixth and Seventh Grade Campers
(Age 11-12)

Senior Camp is tailored to meet the complex and diverse needs of the maturing camper. Senior Campers have more “Club” (elective) choices than younger campers. Senior Campers have the ability to customize their schedule based on individual interests, thus doing more of what they want to do, when they want to do it. Seventh graders may also choose to join our Getaway Day Travel Program, where campers travel to Six Fags once a week for a fun-filled outing (lunch included).

“SCORE” Travel

Eighth Grade Campers (Age 13)

Our travel program is for campers entering the eighth grade whose interests extend beyond traditional day camp experience. While still participating in weekly special events and on-site activities, S.C.O.R.E. (Senior Camper Offsite Recreational Extravaganza) Campers also take part in three exciting day-trips each week, including Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor (lunch included).

S.C.O.R.E. Campers have traveled to other amazing destinations such as:

C.I.T. and Teen Travel

Ninth and Tenth Grade Campers
(14 -15 years old)

All Ninth and Tenth Grade Campers have the option of choosing between our Counselor in Training (C.I.T.)  and our Teen Travel Programs.

Option 1: Counselor in Training (CIT PROGRAM)

Ninth & Tenth Grade Campers

Once a camper becomes a CIT, they work with Frogbridge staff members to develop  responsibility and learn the essence of caring for others through both observation and hands-on involvement. CITs stay with their group throughout the summer for 8 periods each day. Frogbridge CITs also attend one off-site trip every other week (weeks 2, 4, 6 & 8).

CITs will specifically learn about the responsibilities of becoming a future staff member at Frogbridge Day Camp. CIT’s are assessed each summer and acceptance as a future team member is based upon these assessments. We reserve the right to deny entry into these programs based on past assessments or current interviews with new campers. Once a camper successfully completes the CIT Program, they are given a Frogbridge CIT diploma and the opportunity to interview for a position at camp next summer!

CIT campers attend exciting offsite trips to fun-filled destinations throughout the summer. Here is a sample:

  • Broadway, NYC
  • Camelback Mountain Waterpark
  • Medieval Times
  • Rockville Climbing Center
  • Dave and Busters
  • Spirit Cruises, NYC

Teen Campers will venture out on four fun and exciting trips each week! Our travelers will receive a season pass to Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor, with lunch included. Tickets and travel expenses (hotel/lodging and coach bus service) are included, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner.
